Julie's experience includes all ages and levels - all are welcome. Her teaching philosophy is that "all have the potential to learn music, no matter what age or experience level. We never stop growing or learning - a mantra I practice and teach. I place emphasis on all aspects of music - rhythm, technique, notes, phrasing, dynamics, artistry - and their connection to the performer and audience."
"My responsibility as a teacher is to bring the music out of the student and instruct students in an articulate and respectful manner while still having fun! Student and teacher must work together to establish the student's relationship with music and harp which needs to include discipline, motivation, and love."
